No. Please do not sign your documents in advance. By law, a Notary Public or Commissioner of Oaths must witness you signing the document in real-time. If you sign it beforehand, we will require you to cross out the signature and re-sign it in our presence.
You must present at least one piece of valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification. Accepted forms of ID include an Ontario Driver’s License, a Canadian or foreign Passport, or an Ontario Photo Card. Health cards (OHIP) and SIN cards are generally not accepted as primary photo ID.
Walk-ins are always welcome at both our Square One and Eglinton locations during our regular business hours. However, if you are on a tight schedule, booking a specific time slot online or over the phone guarantees you zero wait time when you arrive.
Yes. Remote Online Notarization is fully recognized by the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario. We use secure, compliant video conferencing to legally commission your affidavits and statutory declarations from anywhere in the world. Note: We always recommend confirming with the receiving party (the organization requesting the document) that they accept electronically signed and sealed documents.
We believe in fully transparent, flat-rate pricing. Currently, we are running a limited-time, end-of-year promotion at our Square One office, where standard notarizations are just $15 per document. At our Eglinton office, the standard rate applies, which is $30 per document. There are no hidden fees.
As a Notary Public and Commissioning office, our primary role is to authenticate your identity and witness your signature. While we provide templates for common statutory declarations and travel consents, we do not draft complex legal documents (such as custom Wills or intricate corporate contracts) or provide legal advice. Please bring your completed, unsigned documents with you.
